I found this article through Feministing: Meet Aparna, Mumbai’s Teenage Sex Educator by Neha Thirani. You should read the whole article because it is beautifully written and reports on an important story. The organization that Aparna is involved with is called Kranti, and its focus is upon helping young women who have been involved in sex trafficking and prostitution in India. The organization looks amazing, and Aparna’s story is extremely encouraging. In fact, looking at the profiles of the young women involved with Kranti I found myself inspired and excited for each and every girl.
